Over 400 people gathered Sept. 24 in St. Cloud to participate in the diocesan V Encuentro (“fifth encounter”), a national process of discerning ways in which the church in the United States can better respond to the growing Hispanic/Latino presence.
Patricia Jimenez, communications coordinator for the National V Encuentro, has traveled to five diocesan Encuentro events around the country and attended the Sept. 24 event in St. Cloud.
Rudolfo López and Jaime Cortez will lead “Prayer for Peace,” a free concert at 7 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 24, in the Glen Carlson Room of the River’s Edge Convention Center in St. Cloud.
