The St. Mary’s parish community celebrated an outdoor bilingual Mass and site blessing in Melrose Sept. 9 on the land where it is planning to build a new church.
A juvenile was charged with arson in the first degree for the fire that damaged St. Mary Church in Melrose in March 2016, according to a news release June 20 from the Stearns County Sheriff’s Office.
The doors opened June 13 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Parish leaders were on site all day to answer questions and welcome visitors.
